JL Whitecrow, also known as Jamie Whitecrow, is a versatile artist and filmmaker from Treaty #3 Territory of the Anishinaabe on Seine River First Nation, identifying as Ojibwe and belonging to the Muskrat clan. Currently residing in Toronto, ON, she produces films across multiple genres, including experimental, sci-fi, fantasy, and documentary. In her role as a Writer, Director, and Producer of independent film, she also shoots and edits for others, occasionally stepping into roles such as Producer, Story Editor, Production Designer, or Actor.
